Overview
We are seeking dedicated Horse Grooms to join our team. Grooms will be responsible for maintaining the health, cleanliness, and overall well-being of our horses. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with animals in a farm environment, ensuring their comfort and safety while supporting the daily operations of the farm. Candidates should have a passion for animal care and possess the physical stamina necessary for this role.
Responsibilities
- Groom horses by brushing, bathing, and picking feet
- Assist with feeding, watering, and monitoring the nutritional needs of each horse
- Clean stalls and surrounding areas to maintain a safe and sanitary environment
- Perform heavy lifting tasks such as moving feed bags, hay bales, or other supplies
- Support with hoof care and basic veterinary procedures as needed
- Observe horses for signs of illness or injury and report concerns to the veterinarian or farm manager.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with horses or in a farm environment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Must work well with others in a Team environment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks throughout the da
- Strong attention to detail and a compassionate attitude toward animals
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
