We are looking for agents for a contract located in Kuujjuaq, Northern Quebec.
Position: Security Agent with BSP
Operation: Fly in fly out, 6 weeks
Duration: 6 weeks
Salary: $29/hour + $75/day per diem
A technology security company founded in 2020, Sécurité XGuard recruits, trains, and deploys hundreds of security agents each year in Quebec. We collaborate with clients in the construction, healthcare, retail, real estate management, transportation, and government services sectors. Our clients include private, public, and semi-public organizations.
Working Conditions
We are looking for intervention agents ready to work on a contract located in Kuujjuaq, in Nunavik, Northern Quebec. The operating mode for this contract is a FIFO (Fly In Fly Out) system, meaning our agents initially depart from Montreal (YUL Airport) to travel to Kuujjuaq by plane. You will work for 6 consecutive weeks, then return to Montreal for 6 weeks, and so on until the end of the contract. During your 6 weeks in Montreal, there will be employment opportunities for local XGuard assignments.
During your stay in Kuujjuaq, you must work a minimum of 40 hours per week and be prepared to work day, evening, and night shifts, as well as overtime. You must be willing to work on call at all times. Additionally, you must be comfortable speaking English as the majority of residents in the area communicate in this language.
Remuneration
- Hourly wage of $29, including premiums, with overtime pay at 1.5 times the regular rate ($43.50/h).

Per Diem of $75/day (provided if no meals are provided; otherwise, the amount may be subject to change).
Main responsibilities
As an intervention agent at a hospital facility serving individuals with behavioral disorders within First Nations communities, prior experience with handling potentially aggressive patients is essential. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Continuous monitoring of patients with mental disorders.

Managing access control and ensuring room security.

Enforcement of hospital rules

Intervening verbally and/or physically in cases of aggression towards hospital staff by users.

Performing any other related tasks as required.
