Job Overview
AGI is currently looking for a full-time Millwright/Maintenance Mechanic. This person will be responsible for the general maintenance of shop equipment including forklifts, cranes, mobile cranes, production machinery, welders, cutting and shearing equipment, etc.
DUTIES:
-Performing scheduled preventative maintenance, breakdown & repairs as required and making recommendations as to the extent of the repairs required and suggestions for improvements.
-Diagnosing & troubleshooting machine, hydraulic and pneumatics equipment issues in a timely and safe manner.
-Installing and relocating equipment
-Coordinating and working with various departments including welding, warehouse, blasting and production teams to ensure equipment is running appropriately.
-Providing periodic support to building maintenance needs. (ie: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
EXPERINCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
-Preference of 3-5 years experience in similar positions & work environments
-Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems independently
-General preventative maintenance to ensure minimal downtime
-Able to read schematic drawings to repair equipment
-Past experience working independently with minimal supervision
-Knowledge to work safely
-Strong command of the English language (read, write, speak)
-Ability to work on higher elevations (ladders & lifts)
REQUIREMENTS:
-must have valid Drivers License with a clean abstract
-must be willing to relocate
-must speak and read English fluently
