We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to support our landscaping, construction, and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will assist with a variety of tasks including excavation, tier 1 tasks , gardening, and general site upkeep. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in horticulture, landscaping, and mechanical operations while contributing to the successful completion of diverse projects. Candidates should be reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn new techniques in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
- Use a wide variety of hand tools, power tools to assist with excavation and site preparation
- Perform drainage system installation, repair, and maintenance
- Assist with gardening tasks including planting, pruning, and landscape beautification
- Support construction activities by moving materials, digging trenches, and assisting skilled tradespeople
- Maintain safety standards by following proper procedures during all tasks and handling tools responsibly
- Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
Skills
- Experience operating Skid steers and other heavy machinery preferred
- Knowledge of drainage systems, gardening techniques, and horticulture practices
- Familiarity with landscape construction including prep, interlock, patterns, cutting techniques
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and repairing equipment using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor environments for extended periods
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction and landscaping work
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Basic knowledge of landscape construction processes is a plus
This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in landscaping, construction, or horticulture fields to gain hands-on experience/knowledge while contributing to meaningful projects. On Site Training is provided via Crew Training or 1v1 Training throughout the work season.
Pay: $18.00-$27.77 per hour
