Mechanical Inspector or Aerospace precision components.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform mechanical and visual inspection of machined parts using various inspection tools.
- Perform operation first-off and in-process inspection.
- Programming and operation of CMM
- Review and interpret detailed drawings.
- Verification of certification documents.
- Prepare and complete inspection reports.
- Perform calibration of various inspection tools.
- Perform First article inspection as per AS9102 requirements.
Experience desired:
- Has worked with aerospace parts, drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Knowledge and experience of inspection tools (Height gage, indicators, micrometers)
- Knowledge and proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience using a CMM
