We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in accordance with our restaurant's standards, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Assist in food handling and meal preparation, ensuring all dishes are served promptly and at the right temperature.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment or food service role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and safety regulations is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A passion for cooking and the desire to learn new culinary skills.
