Overview:
$19.75 / hour
This is a vacant position. Candidates must be a minimum age of 18 years.
Joining our Canada’s Wonderland team means you’ll provide guests with exceptional service and cleanliness when they visit the park.
PLEASE NOTE: This position requires applicants to work full time hours. Candidates must be able to work 40 hours per week.

Operate motorized vehicles (pickup trucks/tow tractors)

Maintain park back area cleanliness by completing daily checks of all areas and correcting any cleanliness concerns found

Use pickup trucks to collect non-compactable items (glass/wood/metal/etc.) from multiple locations throughout the park and bring them to a central sorting location

Complete daily collection of cardboard through the use of tow tractors and open top trailers

Operate waste disposal equipment and recycling equipment (trash compactors/cardboard compactors)

Operate small equipment (pressure washer/leaf blowers)

Complete departmental stock inventory control and handling (receive stock when it comes in, complete deliveries twice a week, and complete inventory once a week)

Assist with park pest control program

Complete small repair work/installs when necessary (install toilet paper dispensers/hand towel dispensers/soap dispensers)

Qualifications:
-
Applicants at minimum 18 years of age
-
Candidates that are energetic, confident and professional

Individuals that can perform strenuous activities including heavy lifting and bending
-
Candidates with a valid Ontario Driver’s license (class G/G2) with a clean abstract

Ability to work for extended periods of time outdoors
-
Previous experience with small engines and tools is an asset

Availability that includes working flexible shifts, including evenings, weekend and holidays (shifts start as early as 6:00am within the normal park operating season)
