Why this role is important?
The Director, Strategy and Commercial Operations will report into the V.P. Operations & Clinical, MediSystem. The Director will be responsible for working closely with senior leadership on business strategy, annual planning (multi -year and common year plans), environmental analyses, and executive reporting. This role is also responsible for the Project Management Office, capital budget management, vendor management, pro forma process and managing KPI’s and metrics across the business.
This is a key role that has a broad view across the entire Medisystem business, bringing together the various departments.

What You'll Need
Post secondary education equivalent to a University degree in business, pharmacy or related degree.
6-8 years experience in strategy-related roles within large, fast paced organization or in healthcare, pharmaceutical and/or retail pharmacy
A seasoned Manager with strong analytical, customer service and relationship building skills with attention to detail and ability to problem solve
Demonstrated ability to be strategic and thoughtful, balanced with a practical orientation and sense of urgency
Strong project management skills from concept to implementation
Superior verbal and written communications skills to effectively synthesize and present information to relevant stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Advanced computer skills required in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
Demonstrated ability to work in a team based environment with multiple stakeholders at different levels
Strong thought leadership, business acumen, and influence skills to lead in a matrix working environment
Strong interpersonal dynamics with a proven ability to develop and leverage effective cross-functional working relationships across all levels of the organization in order to meet goals and objectives
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, without close supervision
