Essential Job Functions
- A passion for teaching children.
- Accurately provide reporting regarding student progress as required.
- Complete administrative tasks when required.
- Achieve Real Life Results for each student!
- Follow, adapt, and provide feedback regarding each student’s individual goals.
Requirements
- Ontario Certified Teacher - preferred
- Experienced and educated in the background of tutoring / mentoring to be provided
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work as a part of a team and independently
- Strong communication and multi-tasking abilities
- Experience with students in a teaching or tutoring environment is an asset
- Excellent organizational skills
- Follow, adapt, and provide feedback regarding each student’s individual goals
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Newmarket, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Experience:
- teaching: 1 year (preferred)
- General Education & Test Preparation Tutors: 1 year (preferred)
