Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Long Haul Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty trucks over long distances to deliver freight efficiently and on time. Responsibilities
- Safely operate large commercial trucks over long-distance routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Transport freight securely from origin to destination, ensuring timely deliveries and proper handling of cargo
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and other critical systems
- Load and unload freight using equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper placement and securing of cargo
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage logs, and vehicle maintenance reports
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep trucks in optimal condition
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols for heavy equipment operation
- Secure the load properly and transport it safely.
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting on trucks and related equipment
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate logs and documentation
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively

Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per hour
