The University of the Fraser Valley Student Union Society (SUS) is a BC Not-For-Profit Society representing and serving UFV students. The Society manages the Student Union Building and facilitates services such as the UFV U-PASS, food services, and the student health and dental plan. SUS also provides support to an active community by organizing events and provides wellness and developmental programming. As the official representative body of UFV students, our mission is to be an inclusive community that provides high-quality, accessible programs and services. POSITION: SERVICES COORDINATOR – PROGRAMS & SERVICES
Work Schedule: Full-Time (30hrs per week, Monday - Friday)
Reporting to: Programs & Services Manager

Are you a detail-orientated, multi-tasker who thrives on giving exceptional customer service? SUS is looking for a new Services Coordinator to join our growing team. This fast-paced role supports the Program and Services team coordinating all aspects of SUS services including U-Pass, Campus Shuttle and our Health and Dental Program. The Service Coordinator works with multiple stakeholders in developing strategies to communicate with members of SUS. Other duties include coordinating student feedback and data management as well as organizing information sessions and service-related events.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Services Coordinator has specific responsibility for a variety of functions, including but not limited to the following:
Coordinating the logistics of SUS Services, including U-Pass, Health & Dental, & the Campus Shuttle;
Generating feedback through research and surveys to identify student needs and evaluate service delivery;
Ensuring the effective delivery and quality of SUS Services;
Developing and maintain positive relationships with UFV and external partners related to Programs and Services development;
Liaising with the Marketing Team for the promotion of SUS services
Creating and maintaining a knowledge base for SUS virtual/online communication services
Promoting a positive and inclusive work environment that is free from discrimination and harassment;
Adhering to UFV and UFV SUS bylaws, policies, and procedures and
Other projects and duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Multitasking & Project Management: Ability to self-manage, work on several projects simultaneously
Organization and Planning: Attention to detail, ability to adapt and flex;
Oral & Written Communication: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written;
Interpersonal Communication: Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team, connect with students and with external organizations;
Problem Solving: Ability to think critically and provide solutions under pressure;
Knowledge of UFV: Knowledge of UFV campus, courses and SUS policies would be an asset;
Work Ethic: Professional work ethic, exercising good judgment, initiative, and a high degree of professionalism;
Confidentiality: Able to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
