In order to save yourself time (and much frustration) PLEASE-PLEASE-PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING!!!
I DO NOT EVER hire: cca's, psw's, csw's, nurses, or anyone who works (or has worked) in a seniors facility of any kind, or any other "health care" situation.
If you do, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY!
I NEVER hire such persons. I find that by the time such people have gone through their “training,” they possess attitudes and behaviours that I will not tolerate in my home.
instead, I tend to hire people with zero experience in health care, so that I can train my staff to meet my individual needs.
But if you are someone who:
* Enjoys a variety of tasks within your job.
* Enjoys experiencing new things, being creative, and is a "jack/jill" of several trades.
* Considers themselves "non-conventional".
* Are easy going, open minded, even tempered, understanding, and EXTREMELY RELIABLE?
* Your time is open and flexible.
This employer does offer a welcoming, inclusive workplace, focusing on diversity and equality.
I'm looking for one or two people who's skillset also includes: using a sewing machine, and some basic mechanical ability, + a bit of home decorating skills.)
This may be that next job that you'll love!!!

PLEASE NOW READ POINTS A: - F: EXTREMELY WELL.
A: If after answering ALL of the following questions, I do not send an interview time within three weeks, it most likely means that you have not been selected to proceed further in my hiring process. Due to the sheer volume of applicants, I cannot respond to each individual.
B: Know upfront that I absolutely NEVER pay in cash! (If that’s the kind of job you’re looking for, please don’t apply.)
C: Know upfront that I consider having ZERO EXPERIENCE, but a WILLINGNESS TO LEARN, along with a positive attitude and mindset, a very good thing.
D: Be very mindful that I DO NOT EVER use terms such as: caregiver, care, etc., nor do I allow my attendants/staff to. So please DO NOT use such terms in your application and communications with me. Doing so will disqualify your application.
E: Please also understand that all jobs with me will require all my staff to be completely comfortable assisting me physically in the washroom. This means that you will need to be absolutely comfortable wiping my bottom. If you know up-front that would not be comfortable with this reality, then please do not proceed any further with your application.
F: Note: Specific shift preferences may be able to be arranged after job familiarity is achieved, but my onboarding process is often to start new staff off on the easier shifts (afternoons &; bedtimes) until I feel comfortable with the new staff.
