Business Analyst – IT
We’re looking for a hands-on Business Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced product environment and loves turning complex business problems into advance technical solutions. You will work at the intersection of business, product, and engineering to help build smart, scalable platforms that directly impact our users and growth.
What You’ll Do
-
Work directly with business leaders, product managers, and technology teams to uncover problems, define opportunities, and shape practical, high-impact solutions.
-
Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements that engineering teams can build against with confidence.
-
Drive discovery sessions, workshops, and deep-dive analyses to understand workflows, pain points, and data needs.
-
Create lightweight but precise documentation including user stories, process flows, wireframes, use cases, and functional specs that keep teams aligned without slowing them down.
-
Act as the connective tissue between business, product, engineering, and support — ensuring nothing is lost in translation.
-
Partner closely with developers throughout delivery to clarify scope, refine requirements, and adapt quickly as priorities evolve.
-
Support testing and release cycles by helping define acceptance criteria and ensuring solutions meet real-world business needs.
-
Collect user feedback after launch and turn insights into continuous product improvements.
-
Help teams understand not just what we are building, but why — supporting adoption through training and clear communication.
What You Bring
-
2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst working on software or product development teams.
-
A strong understanding of how modern tech teams build products, including Agile and iterative delivery models.
-
Hands-on experience working with systems such as SQL Server, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
-
.NET and Salesforce experience considered a plus.
-
A natural ability to break down complex problems, connect the dots, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
-
Strong analytical thinking, structured documentation skills, and an eye for detail — without being overly bureaucratic.
-
Comfort working in a fast-changing environment where priorities evolve and speed matters.
-
Background in fintech, mortgage, or financial services is a bonus, but not required.
-
Agile or Business Analysis certification is an asset.
Hiring Process
Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a take-home writing assessment as part of the interview process. This is an opportunity to demonstrate your ability to communicate clearly, structure your thinking, and translate complexity into plain language — core skills for this role.
