Position Summary
This position is responsible for the overall packaging of medication for our Long-term Care clients.
Your Day To Day:
- Working with runner to ensure accuracy at the end of the line
- Package medication and ensure packages are ready for drivers
- Packing for Community Living homes, Nursing & Retirement homes
- Packing for Nursing and Retirement homes
- Receiving and sending inventory orders
- Receiving and sending inventory order
- Managing inventory
- Restocking shelves with medications
- Packaging medications (i.e., blister packs, vials, strips)
- Prepares compounds, creams, liquids.
- Labelling
- Processing refills in Kroll
- Monitoring medication expiration dates and assisting with the disposal of expired or unused medications
- Contributing to the overall organization and cleanliness of the pharmacy environment
- Day-to-day maintenance of our pharmacy operations both independently and in cooperation with teammates
What You Bring To The Team:
- Previous packaging experience
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) regularly throughout the day
- Must be motivated to achieve results that reflect a high standard of quality
- Must demonstrate good listening skills and be adaptable to changes in job environment, procedures and tasks
- Dependable and responsible in the execution of job duties
