We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and installing high-quality custom cabinets, countertops, and millwork according to specifications and blueprints. The ideal candidate has strong woodworking skills and experience operating woodworking machinery in a fast-paced production environment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, MDF, and laminate materials.
- Build custom cabinets, vanities, shelving units, and other millwork products.
- Operate woodworking machinery, including table saws, panel saws, edge banders, CNC routers, drills, sanders, and other power tools.
- Install hardware such as hinges, drawer slides, handles, and locks.
- Perform sanding, finishing, and quality inspections on completed products.
- Maintain accurate measurements and ensure products meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
- Assist with loading, packaging, and installation when required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cabinet Maker or Woodworking Technician.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience operating woodworking machinery and hand tools.
- Strong measuring and mathematical skills.
- Knowledge of cabinet construction methods and materials.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Previous cabinet-making or custom millwork experience.
- Familiarity with laminate, veneer, solid wood, and MDF products.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
- CSA-approved safety shoes required.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
