We are looking for an experienced, results-oriented GENERAL MANAGER to lead the team at Gulf Operators. Our ideal candidate must be a STRATEGIC and effective leader who thinks in broad terms, sees issues from new perspectives, and demonstrates a unique ability to simplify the complex. They will be a hands-on, dynamic LEADER with the ability to ENERGIZE and INSPIRE the team to take-action and ACHIEVE common goals. The General Manager will engage and coach the Senior Leadership Team to maximize business results.
Set the overall company vision along with the Senior Management Team and Vice President
Demonstrate energy and the ability to execute through effective leadership and people management
Present financial results to senior executives and the owners on a regular basis.
Oversee annual budgeting and strategic planning process
Implement technology and continuous improvement opportunities to maximize productivity
Set and communicate clear priorities to lead a high performing management team
Develop and coach talent and make hiring decisions that support growth plans
Establish and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Maximize employee engagement through regular communication with employees
Protect and promote company brand and services
What We Are Looking For:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field with a professional designation
MBA would be considered a strong asset
5-10 years of senior leadership/project management experience
Possess strong leadership skills and behaviors with an emphasis on efficient and quality work
Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of managing financial requirements, deadlines and priorities
The ability to develop, motivate, and foster positive relationships with all stakeholders
Strong computer skills are essential.
