Job Description
Minimum Requirements
- Valid drivers license with clean drivers abstract
- Good knowledge of Ottawa/for deliveries, and comfortable driving panel van (ie. Ford Transit)
- Some physical lifting required (50-100 lbs)
- Time management and organizational skills
- Good customer service/communication skills
- Good mechanical aptitude/familiar with use of hand tools
Job Responsibilities
- Monday to Friday, 9-4:00 (Summer position/start/end dates flexible)
- Deliveries and Installations in Ottawa and surrounding area (ie. hospital beds, raised toilet seats, etc)
- Tests function of equipment installed, instructs clients on use and care of products
- Assist with labour/ramp/stairglide installations as required
- Covering tasks of others as they are on holiday (ie. 2 weeks on daily delivery duties)
- Other duties may include filing of invoices, tidying up retail showroom, helping with outside lawn/maintenance and cleaning
- Other tasks as required
