THE ROLE – People and Culture Manager
Waste Logic is in growth mode – reporting to the President, the new position of People and Culture Manager will collaborate with the senior leadership team to drive, develop and implement various human resources projects, processes, business plans, and initiatives.
This is a unique opportunity to lead the HR function as a department of one and demonstrate your HR expertise and project management skills. We are looking for someone who is passionate about all aspects of HR, thrives on change and variety, and is eager to take on a hands-on role.
We need someone that is knowledgeable in and able to action all facets of the HR function, including but not limited to:
- HR Strategy
- Organizational Design
- Workforce Planning, Full-Cycle Recruitment
- Compensation & Total Rewards
- Policy Development
- Employee Relations
- Workplace Investigations
- Employee Engagement
- Performance Management
- Training and Development
- Terminations
- Reporting & HR Analytics
- Execute all HR related activities, strategies, and projects that support business goals
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and implement opportunities for best practice strategies or programs that support business goals
- Analyze HR trends and metrics to make sound recommendations and solutions to senior leadership
- Keep current with existing and proposed laws and regulations affecting HR practices
There may be other HR duties as assigned and required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources
- 5+ years of HR Generalist experience
- CPHR designation or interest in pursuing designation is considered an asset
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365, ADP Workforce Now, and/or BambooHR is considered an asset

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work type: Full-time, permanent (40 hours of work, Monday through Friday)
Work location: In Office, no hybrid or work-from-home options
