The Role
Based out of our Markham, Ontario, office, you will join our Account Services Group. Your primary focus will be serving as the dedicated strategic point of contact for an assigned portfolio of clients. This position is responsible for all aspects of servicing the VPL client base that require deep functional software knowledge and supply chain industry expertise. We are looking for a highly detail-oriented, proactive self-starter who can manage complex assignments, drive client satisfaction, and deliver comprehensive software consulting.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementation & Configuration: Oversee software application implementation, environment configuration, and setup tailored to client operational workflows.
- Project Management: Lead end-to-end projects for new client installations, system upgrades, and custom development requests.
- Documentation Discipline: Author and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, client interaction logs, functional requirements, and status reports.
- Training Delivery: Develop and conduct high-impact client-facing and internal training activities to ensure platform adoption and proficiency.
- Quality Assurance & Support: Conduct software testing and QA validation; monitor, analyze, and triage support tickets for assigned clients to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in a client-facing role within a supply chain, 3PL, warehousing, or commercial software organization.
- Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of logistics workflows, with hands-on experience utilizing WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and TMS (Transportation Management Systems).
- Business Analysis: Demonstrated strong capability in:
- Conducting discovery sessions to understand customers' operations, business goals, and pain points.
- Preparation of solution documentation, process flows and implementation scope.
- Management of implementation scope.
- Support of Proof of Concept (POC), pilot projects, and client workshops.
- Education: Post-secondary degree (BA/BS), diploma in Computer Science/IT, or equivalent experience.
- Travel: Ability to travel to client sites as required (primarily US & Canada).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to explain technical software concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have / Preferred Technical Skills
- Exposure to DB2, SQL, or other RDBMS platforms for data validation.
- Experience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) tools and automated supply chain processes.
- Experience with knowledge base tools such as Helpjuice.
- Experience with Automated Testing Tools
- Experience in a commercial enterprise software implementation environment.

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
