Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Server at The Five Fishermen & Little Fish Wine Bar, where you will be the heart of the customer experience! In this lively role, you’ll craft exceptional drinks, serve delicious food, and create memorable moments for our guests. Duties
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently with cash handling skills
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety and food handling regulations
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations effectively through excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Assist with catering, banquet events, or nightclub service as needed to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially in fine dining
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to handle sales transactions accurately
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality customer interactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and the ability to engage diverse guests effectively
- Experience in brewing or catering environments is a plus but not required
- Must possess excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset to thrive in fast-paced hospitality settings
