Western Canadian Building Solutions is looking to hire experienced metal cladding installers to join our growing construction crews. We are specifically looking for individuals with hands-on experience installing 9/36 metal cladding, metal roofing, siding, soffit, fascia, and trims on post-frame, agricultural, commercial, and industrial buildings.
This position will involve working on the road on and off throughout Western Canada, depending on project locations.
Experience We're Looking For
- Experience installing 9/36 metal roofing and wall cladding
- Experience measuring, cutting, laying out, and installing metal panels
- Strong experience with metal roofing systems
- Experience installing M-trim and other building trims
- Gable, eave, corner, base, door, window, ridge, and transition trims
- Soffit and fascia installation
- Proper screw patterns, panel alignment, overlaps, closures, and sealing
- Comfortable working at heights and on roofs
- Able to read drawings and work from measurements
- Experience working around overhead doors, man doors, windows, and other openings
- Post-frame building experience is a strong asset
- Able to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
- Willing to travel and stay out of town when required
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation preferred
- Strong understanding of jobsite and fall-protection safety
