What you'll do:
Rapidly develop architecture, design, prototype and implement software solutions to automate processes across our connected network of operations.
Work with multi-functional teams to understand our customer needs, conceptualize solutions, architect the underlying data connections, and design easy to use interfaces with a focus on frequent usage.
Use initiative and critical thinking to deal with concerns/issues/setbacks within projects.
Focuses on opportunities to improve and streamline user experiences with software & hardware.
Ensure in-depth analyses of business issues and project results are presented in a clear and concise format.
What you’ll need:
Working towards an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics or related fields.
Experience in or knowledge of programming languages such as Java, SQL, SAS, Python, or VBA and ability to learn new languages quickly.
Experience with Oracle or Teradata databases, Dynamics 365 and Azure
Knowledge about low-code applications like Appian and Microsoft Power Platform is an asset
Exceptional Microsoft Office skills, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to manipulate data, construct graphical reports and flowcharts.
Ability to think through a problem and resolve appropriate solution based upon Supply Chain principles, logic and common sense.
Excellent problem-solving, communication skills, and ability to explain technical concepts in accessible terms.
Prior (web/mobile) app development experience an asset
Excellent grasp of business process and operational workflow modelling.
Maintains accountability and is focused on results.
Moderate travel required
