Microworks is a premium, systems-driven home service company focused exclusively on small projects. This Service Advisor role is revenue-critical-you protect schedule quality, convert inbound calls into booked capacity, and ensure every customer interaction reflects our premium standards.

You'll handle inbound customer calls, qualify leads, explain our service model, book appointments, and collect credit card information before confirming bookings. You'll confidently manage objections around pricing, scheduling, and estimate requests while ensuring only the right-fit customers enter our calendar.
Our Fixed-Capacity Service Model
Micro Mini: 4-hour capacity block
Micro Main: 8-hour capacity block
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls with warmth, urgency, professionalism, and confidence
- Build trust quickly and guide customers toward booking
- Qualify leads based on scope, location, urgency, expectations, and fit
- Explain the Micro Mini and Micro Main service model clearly and confidently
- Ask for the booking and secure customer commitment
- Collect credit card information before confirming appointments
- Handle objections regarding price, schedule availability, and estimate expectations
- Maintain accurate CRM notes and booking details
- Protect schedule quality by ensuring complete and accurate information
- Follow scripts, SOPs, and processes consistently
- Deliver a premium customer experience on every call
Qualifications
- 3+ years of sales, inside sales, appointment-setting, or service advisor experience
- Proven ability to close sales and secure commitments over the phone
- Strong objection-handling skills
- Professional, confident, and personable phone presence
- Comfortable collecting payment information and asking for the booking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Coachable, process-driven, and accountable
- Strong computer skills and experience using CRM software
Strongly Preferred
- Construction, renovation, handyman, home service, or property management experience
- Knowledge of residential construction, repairs, and home maintenance
- Experience working directly with homeowners
- Understanding of common home improvement terminology and project scopes in Vancouver BC
Local Vancouver Knowledge Preferred
We strongly prefer candidates who live in or have extensive experience in the Greater Vancouver area.
Knowledge of local neighborhoods, housing styles, and homeowner expectations is a major asset, including:
- Vancouver Specials
- Heritage and character homes
- Condominiums and strata properties
- Townhomes
- Laneway homes
- New construction homes
- Older detached homes common throughout Metro Vancouver
A local understanding helps create better customer conversations, stronger qualification, and higher booking success.
