Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and food industry experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, managing restaurant procedures, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Prior experience in restaurant management, food handling, and hospitality is an asset.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality service.
- Lead and motivate team members, including interviewing and training new staff to uphold company standards.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage POS systems for order processing and cash handling accurately.
- Ensure adherence to food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper kitchen procedures.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and maintain excellent customer service standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Enforce company policies related to hospitality and restaurant safety protocols.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food delivery times and quality control measures.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and other operational spaces throughout the shift.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service supervision with strong leadership capabilities.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking processes, and food safety regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Strong team management skills including supervising staff and training new employees.
- Ability to oversee food handling procedures while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
