This role sits within Laurentian Bank, a subsidiary of Laurentian Bank Financial Group.
Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate and Public Affairs ("Vice President"), you will work on various projects directly supporting the President and CEO. In this role, you will develop and maintain relationships with a network of colleagues and senior executives from across the Bank, collaborate with peers from various sectors, and contribute to the overall operating rhythm of the Executive Office.
This position is ideal for candidates who want to work on challenging initiatives, gain an in-depth understanding of Laurentian Bank's business lines and operations, and contribute to the Bank's renewed strategic direction.
º Build PowerPoint presentations for the Vice President and CEO, and assist in the creation of documents and reports for a range of audiences and stakeholders
º Manage the agenda, collect and distribute materials, and take minutes for the Bank's weekly Executive Management Committee meetings
º Support the enhancement of processes within the Executive Office, including budget tracking and expense management, providing insightful recommendations and solutions
º Work closely with the AVP of ESG and Sustainability to help advance the Bank's various Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) policies and projects, including collecting and analyzing internal and external ESG-related data, filling in external surveys and questionnaires, managing the agenda and meeting minutes for the Bank's cross-functional ESG-related working groups, and leading the internal ESG newsletter.
º Support the Vice President and Executive Assistant to the President and CEO on administrative tasks as required
º University Degree with a minimum of 1-2 years relevant work experience
º Excellent at writing, editing and organizing content
º Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint
º Ability to navigate a complex organization and prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
º Able to successfully analyze and synthesize information, and communicate to varying audiences in an engaging and concise manner
º Passionate about learning, open to new ideas and growing your career within our organization
º Adept at building relationships and working collaboratively across business groups
º Exceptionally organized with superior attention to detail
º Agile, adaptable to change and can work on multiple projects simultaneously
º Self-motivated, resourceful and can work independently
º Familiarity with ESG and social impact issues an asset
Selected candidates will complete a case study, including analysis and recommendations, to be presented during the in-person interview.
