Flexible days from 1-4 per week but Saturday night availability is a must! Hourly wage as noted PLUS TIPS!
Duties
- Efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food handling tasks when needed to support smooth food preparation processes.
- Ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning to prevent cross-contamination and maintain organization.
- Follow safety procedures and health regulations diligently to uphold hygiene standards in the kitchen environment.
- Support the overall cleanliness of the restaurant or hotel dining area by helping with light cleaning tasks as directed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely dish turnaround during busy service hours, contributing to a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and food safety standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good teamwork skills with a positive attitude; flexibility to adapt to changing priorities during busy shifts.
- Knowledge of food handling and kitchen safety practices is a plus.
