ONE8T Wellness – Calgary, AB 32 Hours/Week | 4-Day Workweek | 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
ONE8T Wellness is looking for an exceptionally reliable, detail-oriented person to take ownership of the deep cleaning and overall care of our two Calgary wellness studios in Marda Loop and West Springs.
This is more than a traditional cleaning position. We are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining beautiful spaces, notices the little things others miss, and enjoys having ownership over their work.
ONE8T provides private wellness experiences featuring infrared saunas, cold plunges, red light therapy and other recovery technologies. Cleanliness is a huge part of the ONE8T experience, and this position will be responsible for ensuring both studios consistently meet our standards.
This is a 32-hour-per-week position, consisting of four 8-hour daytime shifts.
Typical hours: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, four days per week
You will work approximately two days per week at our Marda Loop studio and two days per week at our West Springs studio.
The 7:00 AM start is intentional. It gives you the first couple of hours of the day with little or no member traffic so you can tackle detailed cleaning efficiently before the studio gets busy.
Each studio has 8 private wellness suites.
You will visit each location twice per week and deep clean 4 suites per shift, ensuring that every suite at both locations receives a complete deep clean every week.
Your responsibilities will include:

Deep clean 4 private wellness suites per shift
- Thoroughly clean and detail infrared saunas
- Deep clean cold plunge areas and surrounding surfaces
- Deep clean showers, drains, floors, glass and fixtures
- Clean and detail red light therapy and other wellness equipment
- Detail walls, doors, handles, baseboards and high-touch surfaces
- Deep clean and sanitize the massage chairs and massage chair area once per week at each studio
- Deep clean the washrooms once per week at each studio
- Complete rotating detail-cleaning projects throughout the studios
- Keep cleaning and storage areas organized
- Monitor cleaning supplies and identify items that need to be reordered
- Identify damage, maintenance concerns or anything that isn't meeting ONE8T standards
- Communicate maintenance and facility issues to the management team
- Complete assigned cleaning and facility checklists
Each location will receive two dedicated facility-care days per week.
Day 1 – Marda Loop Deep clean 4 suites + massage chairs + facility/detail cleaning
Day 2 – West Springs Deep clean 4 suites + massage chairs + facility/detail cleaning
Day 3 – Marda Loop Deep clean remaining 4 suites + washrooms + facility/detail cleaning
Day 4 – West Springs Deep clean remaining 4 suites + washrooms + facility/detail cleaning
This means you will personally be responsible for ensuring all 16 ONE8T suites receive a detailed deep clean every week.

- Doesn't need someone constantly checking their work
- Notices things that other people overlook
- Is organized and able to follow detailed checklists
- Is comfortable with physically active work throughout an 8-hour shift
- Can reliably travel between our Marda Loop and West Springs locations
- Communicates clearly when they notice a problem
- Takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what needs attention
Previous professional cleaning, hotel, spa, fitness, hospitality or facility-maintenance experience is an asset, but it isn't our biggest priority.
We're looking for someone with an exceptional work ethic who takes pride in leaving a space noticeably better than they found it.
ONE8T Wellness is a growing Calgary wellness brand offering private contrast therapy and recovery experiences.
