This is an hourly paid continental shift position included within the bargaining unit of the Unifor Union, Local 219-0. Competitive hourly rate ($42.14/hour) and benefits are offered.
Ensures full compliance with all OHSA (Occupational Health and Safety Act) requirements, Codes, plant safety rules, work rules and procedures as may apply to duties performed
Efficiently performs all assigned duties to ensure work meets or exceeds the quality standards of our customers both internally and externally.

Actively participates in training and continuous improvement activities that promote the efficient and cost effective utilization of plant resources.
Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices; Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
Ability to install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical and electronic components such as motors, switches, DC drives, PLC’s, robots and sensors.
Hold an Electrical, Electronic or Instrumentation 2 or 3 year college diploma
Hold a valid Industrial Electrician Trades Ticket in the province of Ontario, or a valid Interprovincial Industrial Electrician Trades Ticket recognized in the Province of Ontario (preferred)
Have a team player attitude and excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
Have strong decision making skills and are able to prioritize and resolve issues in a timely manner as they occur
