Description
Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in modernizing our digital guest experience. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end business analysis for Phase 2 of our Seamless Check-In initiative. This critical program focuses on deepening integrations with our key global partners (such as Delta Air Lines and the SkyTeam alliance) to ensure our guests enjoy a frictionless, world-class check-in experience across cross-border and international journeys.
As a Senior BA, you will navigate ambiguity, bridge the gap between complex business needs and technical API architecture, and facilitate high-profile alignment sessions with both internal teams and external airline partners.
Responsibilities
1. Requirements Elicitation & Analysis

Lead end‑to‑end requirements gathering across multiple business and technical domains, including Digital Channels, Contact Centres, APIs, and industry standards.

Conduct stakeholder interviews, discovery sessions, and structured workshops—including travel for in‑person collaborative workshops with external partners (Delta/SkyTeam) where required.

Analyze current‑state processes and define optimal future‑state workflows for the cross-airline Seamless Check‑In journey.
2. Documentation & Artifact Creation

Develop, maintain, and own high-quality project artifacts, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications for integration/front-end journeys, and detailed process/data flow maps.

Translate business needs into refined, high-quality user stories and robust acceptance criteria.

Maintain strict traceability between business needs, technical requirements, and delivered functionality.
3. Stakeholder Alignment & Communication

Act as the central liaison between business units, Product Owners, Solution Architects, development teams, and external alliance partners.

Drive clarity on requirements, priorities, and project scope throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Confidently communicate project status, complex requirements, and strategic decisions at both the delivery/working level and executive level.
4. Support to Delivery & Agile Teams

Partner with Agile delivery teams to feed and groom the product backlog, ensuring user stories are implementation-ready.

Support sprint planning and provide ongoing, real-time requirements clarification to developers and QA teams.

Collaborate closely with Solution Architects to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with core architectural principles.
5. Validation, Testing & Implementation

Define, structure, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios and validation criteria to guarantee the solution meets business requirements and partner agreements.

Support go‑live readiness, operational handoffs, and the creation of training inputs for front-line operations and contact centers.
6. Risk & Dependency Management

Proactively identify, document, and track cross-project dependencies involving internal legacy systems and external partner technologies.

Highlight risks related to requirements gaps, system integration limits, and operational process changes.

Partner with delivery leadership to formulate practical mitigation and contingency plans.
Key Deliverables

End‑to‑end validated requirements baseline for the Seamless Check-In Phase 2 project.

Comprehensive BRDs and technical-functional specifications for cross-airline check-in flows.

Fully mapped Current-State vs. Future-State process maps.

A well-structured, prioritized Agile product backlog with refined user stories.

UAT plans, test scenarios, and final sign-off acceptance criteria.

Facilitated stakeholder workshop outputs, action items, and decision logs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst leading large‑scale IT enterprise or digital transformation initiatives.

Integration Expertise: Proven experience working on projects involving API-driven integrations, platform migrations, or complex system-to-system data flows.

Program Scale: Demonstrated success navigating multi‑stakeholder, cross‑functional corporate programs.

Agile Proficiency: Solid understanding of Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and tools (e.g., Jira/Confluence).

Analytical Skills: Superior ability to untangle complex business problems and translate them into highly structured, clean requirements.

Nice-to-Haves (Preferred Asset Criteria)

Aviation Domain Knowledge: Direct experience in airline operations, departure control systems (DCS), reservation systems, or digital guest/passenger journeys.

Alliance Integrations: Familiarity with commercial airline partner integrations, including codeshare, interline processes, or global alliance standards (SkyTeam/Star Alliance/oneworld).

Education and Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
