Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Framer/Truss Assembler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing roof trusses and prefab walls used in residential and commercial building projects. Your expertise will ensure that each component meets precise specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly instructions to accurately construct trusses and framing components
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and assemble wood with precision and ensure stability & durability
- Operate forklifts safely to move raw materials and finished products within the warehouse or manufacturing area
- Conduct inspections of completed assemblies to verify alignment, measurements, and overall integrity before shipment
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety protocols and manufacturing best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction, manufacturing, or carpentry with a focus on framing or truss assembly
- knowledge of tools, machinery, and forklift operation
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, or schematics accurately
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment use and construction environments
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly and stand for extended periods throughout shifts
- Warehouse experience or background in using hand tools for assembly tasks is highly desirable
