Delivery & Warehouse Associate
Full-Time Position
For over 56 years, Paradise LeisureScapes has been helping families create their perfect backyard oasis. We are seeking an experienced, dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Operative to join our Regina team. The successful candidate will be highly organized, able to take ownership of their responsibilities and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments
- Receive, inspect and accurately document incoming inventory
- Prepare and package outgoing orders
- Safely load and unload delivery trucks
- Operate a forklift to receive, move and organize large, heavy and oversized products
- Handle and document dangerous goods according to applicable procedures
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving and inventory records
- Identify and assist in resolving inventory and shipping discrepancies
- Ensure products are stored safely and in their proper locations
- Keep the warehouse and compound clean, organized and safe
- Complete required forklift inspections and shipping documentation
- Communicate effectively with all departments and the delivery team
- Assist with inventory counts and purchasing-related duties as required
- Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow tasks through to completion
Required Qualifications
- Previous shipping and receiving experience
- Valid forklift certification and demonstrated experience safely moving large and oversized products
- Experience handling and documenting dangerous goods
- Fluency in spoken and written English is required to ensure clear communication, accurate documentation and compliance with safety and dangerous-goods procedures
- Ability to remain organized and accurate in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Strong organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and work with minimal supervision
- Dependable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Microsoft Excel
- Experience using Sage or similar inventory or accounting software
- Previous purchasing or inventory-control experience
- Experience coordinating with freight carriers and reviewing shipping documentation
Physical and Operational Requirements
- Ability to safely lift and carry more than 50 lbs
- Comfortable performing physical work throughout the day
- Comfortable and experienced using a forklift to move large, heavy and oversized products
- Ability to safely load and unload delivery trucks
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a busy warehouse environment
We are looking for someone who takes initiative, communicates clearly and can confidently manage the day-to-day shipping and receiving needs of a busy warehouse.
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
