On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Threat Intelligence Analyst for a 1-year role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Threat Intelligence Analyst - Job Description:
The Threat Intelligence Analyst will be part of the Fusion Threat Intelligence Team, focusing on identifying, analyzing, and mitigating emerging cyber threats. The role involves proactive monitoring and intelligence gathering to protect the bank’s digital assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
Threat Intelligence Analyst - Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify, analyze, and report on cyber threats impacting the bank’s operations and assets
- Monitor threat actors, trends, and vulnerabilities to produce actionable intelligence
- Support incident response activities by providing timely and relevant threat assessments
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance detection capabilities
- Develop and maintain threat intelligence processes
Threat Intelligence Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
- 1-2 years’ experience in threat intelligence
- Knowledge of common security threats and industry best practices
- Previous experience in a cybersecurity environment
- Experience with threat actors and attack techniques
- External monitoring experience
Threat Intelligence Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Previous experience within the financial sector
- Information security certification such as CompTIA Sec+, CISM
Threat Intelligence Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 1-year contract position with potential for extension or conversion to full-time employment.
