Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile and friendly Cafe All-Rounder to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, strong time management skills, and a passion for creating a positive customer experience. This position offers an opportunity to develop a broad skill set within the food industry, including cashiering, food preparation, and customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages and food items in accordance with safety and quality standards
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including food handling and food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and food safety standards.
Skills
- Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is an asset
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle serving duties efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively

Pay: $18.50-$21.50 per hour
