Davco Power Systems, a leader in Commercial electrical projects and services, is actively seeking Service Electricians to join our team. We have a great team that is ready to grow and are looking for the right individual to help us expand our business.
This is a full-time position with benefits.
Duties will include:
- Perform routine maintenance on existing equipment.
- Install and maintain electrical wiring in buildings, offices, and other areas.
- Splice, join and connect wire to fixtures and components to form circuits
- Provide assistance with the performance of routine maintenance tasks.
- Test continuity of circuits using test equipment
- Identify and resolve problems for most types of service calls including emergency
- Install and wire a fire alarm system
- Analyze repair requirements and provide customer with appropriate solutions
- Install, replace, and repair lighting fixtures and/or electrical control and distribution equipment such as switches, relays and circuit breaker panels
- Keep work area free of debris, trash, and maintain a clean work site.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures.
- Complete accurate and detailed service reports in a timely manner
Required Skills:
- Commercial experience and/or training in the installation, repair, maintenance or maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
- Knowledge of electrical safety practices and requirements. (OSHA, Safety Codes etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, design rules and procedure manuals.
- Good communication skills and can take direction from co-workers.
- Ability to prioritize activities, work efficiently in small teams or independently as necessary.
- Respectful for work sites (attention to detail, tidy work environment)
