Klassen Brothers Northern Ltd. is currently seeking a 1st or 2nd year Apprentice Truck and Transport Mechanic. Reporting directly to the Lead Hand and Service Manager the Technician will be based out of our shop in DeBolt, AB located 30mins east of Grande Prairie, AB.

DUTIES INCLUDE:
- be a self starter that works directly under a Journeyman tech who will help perform scheduled maintenance as well as both minor and major repairs to our fleet of Kenworth Trucks, lowdbeds, jeeps, boosters and other support equipment
- take instructions well
- maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
- completing all required computer entries after the job for machine repair history records
- using Cummins Insight and Cat ET as required
- being a part of an on call schedule
- able to acquire CVIP licence or possess a CVIP Licence
REQUIREMENTS:
- mechanical experience/interest
- pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Clean Class 5 drivers abstract
- Positive attitude and good work ethic
- Must be extremely organized
- Physically capable of performing labor intensive work
- Be willing to work overtime
- Be willing to work a shift schedule if required
- Must have excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Have your own tools
- Have you own reliable transportation
- Welding experience is an asset
- Class 1 or Class 3 and Q-Endorsement is an asset
