Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients across diverse clinical settings, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and musculoskeletal imaging.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process clearly and ensuring their comfort throughout the examination.
- Operate ultrasound equipment with precision, adjusting settings to optimize image quality based on specific diagnostic requirements.
- Accurately document imaging procedures, patient information, and technical details in electronic medical records.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare team members to review images, clarify findings, and assist in diagnosis.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards during all procedures.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in sonography technology and techniques through ongoing education and training.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or similar role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy relevant to ultrasound imaging.
- Demonstrated proficiency with various ultrasound equipment and software systems.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Certification from an accredited sonography program is preferred; licensure or registration may be required based on regional regulations.

Pay: $32.62-$53.71 per hour
