Ever dreamed of moving to BC?
Tl’azt’en Nation is hiring a Chief Financial Officer in beautiful Northern British Columbia, with flexibility to work between our Prince George satellite office, Tache, and approved remote days.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who wants to do more than maintain an existing Finance function. Tl’azt’en is growing quickly, with new programs, infrastructure, capital projects, and organizational development underway, and we are looking for a financial leader who wants to help shape what comes next.
We offer:
- $155,000–$175,000 annual salary
- 35-hour work week
- 6% paid vacation
- approximately 2 weeks of additional paid Christmas closure
- 5.5% employer pension matching
- extended health and dental benefits
- $3,000 relocation assistance
- flexible hybrid work arrangement
- access to our Prince George satellite office
- approved mileage reimbursement for required travel between Prince George and Tache
- tuition and professional development support
The CFO will join our senior leadership team and play a major role in financial planning, reporting, budgeting, audit readiness, internal controls, capital planning, governance, and developing the internal Finance team.
We are looking for a CPA with progressive senior financial leadership experience. Experience with First Nations, Indigenous governments, public sector, or not-for-profit organizations is a strong asset, and we also welcome experienced Finance Directors, Controllers, and senior finance leaders who are ready to step into a CFO role.
If Alberta has been home but BC has been calling, this could be a pretty good reason to make the move.
Apply with your resume and cover letter to [email protected] and include “Chief Financial Officer” in the subject line.
Applications will be reviewed as received.
