Job Overview
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
This role involves handling packages, operating equipment, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Tasks may include assembling, scanning, sorting, sealing, and loading/unloading parcels in accordance with safety procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist in order fulfillment by picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately.
- Scans, reads, and labels packages to determine correct grouping.
- Sort packages that move along a conveyor line.
- Sort items according to the destination.
- Understand the Health and Safety Standards and the follow the company safety protocols.
- Reports any safety issues to the warehouse manager.
- Use hand-to-surface methods when handling packages to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Operate forklift and other equipment to move materials within the warehouse.
- Perform heavy lifting and carrying of materials as needed.
- Load and unload trailers with attention to proper skid placement and weight distribution.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.
- Follows written and verbal instructions.
- Any other duties assigned to them.
Job Requirements
- Reliable and punctual, and able to follow directions.
- Should have reliable transportation to get to/from work.
- Able to lift/carry/push up to 75 Lbs and up to 150 Lbs with assistance.
- Must have at least 2 years of Forklift experience
- Able to stand, sit and/or walk for long hours.
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution and logistics.
- Ability to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment processes.
- Skilled in loading and unloading trailers, with a focus on proper skid placement and effective weight distribution.
- Knowledge of computer software such as outlook, word, excel, Microsoft TEAMS.
- Must adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Safety vests are provided by the organization; however, employees are required to supply their own steel-toe footwear.

Certifications/Requirements

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
