Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Journeyman/woman to join our construction and restoration team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sheet metal work, with proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints, and a variety of related skills. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems across commercial and residential projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including construction, restoration, and renovation efforts, utilizing a wide range of hand tools and techniques.
Responsibilities
- Install, fabricate, and repair sheet metal components according to project specifications and schematics
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of work
- Conduct maintenance and restoration work on existing systems to extend their lifespan or improve functionality
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining safety standards
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools for cutting, shaping, and installing sheet metal components
- Construction experience with a focus on HVAC systems or related trades such as carpentry or plumbing
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Experience with welding processes relevant to sheet metal fabrication or repair
- Familiarity with restoration projects involving sheet metal components or systems
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various construction environments

Pay: $33.00-$42.00 per hour
