Nutcracker Sweet Inc. is looking for an energetic person who likes to work hard, in a fast-paced warehouse/assembly-line environment during a very busy season. We are looking for someone who can work independently as well as be able to take direction from co-workers and supervisors efficiently. Contract position until December 22, 2023. Shifts would run from 9AM-5PM, Saturdays.
Duties
- Packing and preparing items for shipping
- Ensure all work complies with Safety Standards and all applicable codes and policies
- Working with a team to complete tasks within a set time frame while following instructions provided by management
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat; maintaining a clean shipping supply area and removing trash as needed
- Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
- Following workflow as provided by Management and HR Team
- Required to go up ladders and use pump trucks daily (safety training will be provided)
- Keeping track of your assigned tools (tape gun and box cutter)
- Make sure you are wearing a hair restraint and mask in the GDP area
Qualifications
- Preferred to have at least 1-year experience in a warehouse environment
- Ability to explain information to coworkers & supervisors efficiently.
- Strong command of the English language.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand up to 5.5 hours at a time completing tasks
- Legally entitled to work in Canada full time
Pay for this position will be provided directly into the worker's bank account every two weeks & is subject to all Canadian laws related to taxation, pensions & other deductions.

Salary: $15.50 per hour
