About the Role
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Field Merchandiser/Installer. This position involves installing fixtures, setting up shelving and racking systems, store displays, millwork, and signage, as well as product merchandising in retail environments across Western Canada.
Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in construction, store fixturing, or related trades, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality. You’ll travel across the country to set up new stores and renovate or refresh existing ones.
Key Responsibilities
· Install and maintain fixtures, shelving, warehouse racking, cantilever, millwork, and store displays.
· Conduct construction, maintenance, and merchandising tasks within retail environments.
· Read and interpret plan-o-grams, ensuring accurate product placement and high merchandising standards.
· Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively (e.g., impact drills, grinders, hammers).
· Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, and assembling materials up to 50 lbs.
· Report completed work tasks accurately using online reporting tools.
· Follow all site and safety procedures while maintaining a professional appearance and conduct as a representative of the company.
· Plan, coordinate, and execute projects efficiently and within timelines.
Requirements
· Ability to work days, nights, and weekends as required.
· Willingness to travel across Canada, occasionally for up to two weeks at a time.
· Proven hands-on skills in construction, carpentry, or fixture installation.
· Comfortable using tools and equipment.
· Proficient with computers for basic reporting and email communication.
· Capable of performing physically demanding work, including extended periods of standing, moving, and lifting.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
