Summary:
We are a manufacturing firm seeking a candidate responsible for Packaging and assisting with Shipping. The successful candidate will be experienced with packing and shipping processes. Candidate must be reliable and punctual. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience. Position reports directly to the Shop Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Counting and packing materials into boxes.
- Assisting with preparing orders for shipping.
- Labelling boxes for inventory.
- Part-Time machine operating (training will be provided if needed).
- Inspect and measure finished work-pieces to determine conformance to specifications.
- Assist with preparing and maintaining production equipment for operation.
- Handle and move materials and pieces, using lifting devices as required.
- Removing scrap metal from the shop.
- Handling weight up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge and ability to use various hand tools and power tools.
- General labor duties as assigned.
Skills / Qualifications
- Experience in a Laborer environment would be an asset.
- Ability to work evening shift; 3:30 pm – 12:00 am Monday to Friday
- The ability to operate a forklift is an asset.
- Multitasking.

- Strong organization skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
