Stamping Press Operators for one of their manufacturing clients in
Bradford, ON. Our client is looking for candidates who are willing to learn, work well in a team and independently, and are always up for a challenge!
Stamping Press Operator Responsibilities:
- Previous experience operating stamping, punch press, or metal forming equipment in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
- Ability to safely operate mechanical and hydraulic press machines while following established operating procedures.
- Experience performing machine set-ups, tool changes, and first-piece inspections is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, production schedules, and basic blueprints or drawings.
- Knowledge of quality inspection techniques using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and tape measures.
- Strong attention to detail to identify defects and ensure products meet quality specifications.
Stamping Press Operator Requirements:
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Experience with progressive die stamping, transfer presses, or automotive manufacturing environments.
- Must have access to your own vehicle
- Strong communication skills are a must
- Able to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift 50lbs
Employment Details:
Pay: $20-$23/hr depending on experience
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6am-4:30pm
Location: Bradford, ON
