Overview
We are seeking two passionate and dedicated Volleyball Coaches to join our team. One candidate will be a full-time role coaching multiple teams and programs. The other candidate will be part time and will just coach one team. The ideal candidates will have a background in volleyball, with the ability to educate and inspire athletes. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with youth and is committed to fostering a positive and competitive environment.
Responsibilities (these will vary depending on which role you are applying for)
- Develop and implement training programs that enhance players' skills and knowledge of the game.
- Conduct regular practices, focusing on individual and team development.
- Educate athletes on game strategies, rules, and sportsmanship.
- Monitor player performance and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Organize and participate in competitions, ensuring that all logistics are managed effectively.
- Foster a supportive team culture that encourages teamwork, respect, and personal growth.
- Communicate effectively with players and other coaching staff regarding progress and expectations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in coaching volleyball at a competitive level.
- Strong understanding of the sport's fundamentals, strategies, and techniques.
- Ability to educate players of varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced athletes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A positive attitude with a passion for teaching and mentoring young athletes.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be able to pass any required background checks related to working with youth.
Velocity VC is open to training the right candidate, even if they don't check all the boxes.

Pay: $24.00-$37.50 per hour
