Your Role as an Electrician
As an Electrician at MAG Solar, you’ll play a key role in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting residential and commercial solar electrical systems. You’ll work closely with project managers, installers, and clients to ensure all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and to code.
This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to be part of Canada’s growing renewable energy industry.
What You’ll Do
Install and connect residential and commercial solar electrical systems
Perform electrical service upgrades, conduit runs, wiring, and panel work
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on-site
Ensure all work complies with Canadian electrical codes and safety regulations
Collaborate with project managers and installation crews to complete projects efficiently
Maintain organized documentation and communicate project progress with the team
Represent MAG Solar professionally at client sites

What We’re Looking For
Electrical Experience: Journeyman certification or relevant electrical experience preferred
Solar Experience an Asset: Previous solar installation experience is beneficial but not required
Strong Work Ethic: Reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented
Team Player: Able to work well independently and alongside installation crews
Problem Solver: Comfortable troubleshooting and adapting on-site
Reliable Transportation: Required for travel to project sites within assigned territory
