Position Summary:
Encore is seeking a strong leader with experience in small domestic appliances or premium retail to support the growth of our De’Longhi Group Market Development program.
This role leads and develops a team of part-time Market Development Representatives across Canada responsible for driving sales through in-store demonstrations, product training, merchandising, and retail relationship-building across key banners.
You will be accountable for delivering results by ensuring consistent execution, elevating team performance, and strengthening the in-store presence of De’Longhi, Braun, nutribullet, and magic bullet brands.

Position Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a team of Market Development Representatives to drive sales, product demonstrations, merchandising, and retail execution excellence
Deliver on sales targets and KPIs across assigned territories, increasing brand visibility, distribution, and sell-through
Effectively communicate retail priorities and translate objectives into actionable plans for the field team
Ensure optimal call coverage, territory management, and execution of in-store activities including demos, training, and merchandising
Spend 50–60% of time in-field coaching team members on customer engagement, product demonstrations, and selling skills
Create presentations and reports to support team training, ongoing client communication, and other key needs
Review performance metrics and implement action plans to optimize results and address gaps
Provide ongoing training and development to enhance team capabilities in product knowledge, presentation, and retail engagement
Maintain regular communication with team members and client stakeholders, providing updates, insights, and field feedback
Track and analyze team performance using reporting tools to ensure objectives are consistently met
Support execution of seasonal activations, retail events, and sales meetings
Lead performance management and development processes for all direct reports
Your Experience:
5+ years of successfully leading teams in retail, field sales, or CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) or SDA (Small Domestic Appliances) environments
Experience in small domestic appliances, premium products, or experiential retail is an asset
Proven ability to coach and develop teams in customer engagement, demonstrations, and sales execution
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
High level of comfort with technology and reporting tools (such as Microsoft Office)
Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build collaborative relationships with internal teams and client stakeholders
Willingness to travel overnight across Canada (15–20%)
