Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating metal components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards and precision in every project. This role requires proficiency in various fabrication techniques, including welding and machining, as well as the ability to read blueprints and operate relevant machinery.
Duties
- Fabricate metal components by cutting, shaping, and assembling materials based on technical drawings and blueprints.
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques to ensure strong and durable joints.
- Operate hand tools and machinery, including press brake machines, cranes, and forklifts, to complete fabrication tasks efficiently.
- Conduct quality checks on fabricated items to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment or materials as they arise during the fabrication process.
Requirements
- Proven experience in metal fabrication, including welding and machining skills.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with hand tools and machinery used in metal fabrication.
- Experience operating cranes and forklifts is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot fabrication challenges effectively.
