Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Operations & Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain, warehouse management, and distribution processes. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams, implement process improvements, and ensure efficient order fulfillment and materials management. This role requires a strong background in supply chain operations, ERP systems, and continuous improvement initiatives to support the company's growth and operational excellence.
Duties
- Manage overall warehouse operations including distribution, inventory control, and materials management
- Oversee order fulfillment processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products
- Supervise warehouse staff, including training on safety procedures and operational standards
- Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS), ERP systems such as AS400, and other software tools to monitor inventory levels and streamline workflows
- Coordinate procurement activities, including purchasing and supplier negotiations for raw materials and freight services
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality standards
- Oversee freight logistics, including 3PL providers, demand planning, and transportation scheduling
- Manage budgeting for warehouse operations and logistics activities
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations; operate or supervise forklift operations as needed
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives aligned with industry best practices such as Lean or Six Sigma
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in warehouse management or logistics roles
- Extensive knowledge of supply chain processes including procurement, demand planning, freight, and distribution
- Strong familiarity with Warehouse Management System (WMS), ERP systems (notably AS400), and process improvement methodologies
- Experience with materials management, order fulfillment, and warehouse distribution strategies
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets effectively while optimizing operational performance
- Hands-on experience with forklift operation preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise diverse teams and drive change initiatives
- Prior experience working with 3PL providers and managing complex supply chain networks is highly desirable

Pay: $110,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
