Line Cook
We are looking for a hardworking and dedicated individual to join our team as a Line Cook. This position may be based at either of our locations:
- Puck Stop — Richcraft Sensplex, 813 Shefford Road
- Meatings Restaurant — Broadhead Brewery, 1680 Vimont Court
The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing food for service, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, following food safety standards, and supporting the kitchen team during busy periods.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Complete food preparation as directed by the Kitchen Manager.
- Ensure vegetables, meats, and other ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation.
- Assist with receiving and unloading food deliveries.
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, dishes, and utensils.
- Properly label, date, rotate, and store food items in cold storage.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to the Kitchen Manager.
- Sweep, mop, and maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas.
- Empty garbage and recycling at the end of each shift.
- Work cooperatively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- Follow all company policies and applicable food safety regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a commercial kitchen is an asset.
- High school diploma or GED is an asset.
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a hot kitchen environment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Good manual dexterity and physical stamina.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 44.0 per week
