Rehab First Inc. is currently seeking a Registered Speech Language Pathologist join our team. The successful candidate will provide services to our clients in the clients home and community in the following areas:
Brantford, Halton, Hamilton, Niagara, St. Catharines area
Rehab First is one of Ontario`s largest multidisciplinary assessment and treatment organizations, numbering approximately 120 professional staff who are supported by our MEDNet® roster, and administrative team. Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
- Superior communication, problem-solving, time-management and documentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Clinical skills in evidence-based practice
- Have a valid CPR certificate
- Hold a Valid Driver’s Licence, auto insurance and have a reliable vehicle
- Completion of a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check within the last six months
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete general and specialized assessments to include cognitive communication, reading comprehension, speech and swallowing
- Provide client treatment in our London clinic, and community
- The ability to work with a diverse client base
- Preparing and submitting case notes and reports
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
